Maine Epsilon Chapter meets

    The Maine Epsilon Master Chapter of Beta Sigma Phi held its last meeting before the summer break May 21 at the home of Helene Bernard with Ellen Helstrom as co-hostess. Vice President Pam Palm conducted the meeting. 

    The Preceptor Ritual was given for Gail Clukey and Peggy Erwin. Secretary, treasurer, and committee reports were given and discussed. A thank-you note from the Humane Society was read. Snowbirds were welcomed back.
    Three members attended the New England Beta Sigma Phi Convention in Fredericton, New Brunswick June 26-28.
    It was voted to give $25 to the Sarah Richards Scholarship. There were thank-yous from Secret Sals and reports on members unable to attend the meeting.
    The group’s annual potluck summer outing will be Aug. 12 at Mae Gerrish’s home in Eagle Lake. Happy Dollars were shared. Refreshments were served by Marlene Kelley, Sherry Miller-Thibodeau and Betsy Fitzherbert.
