Star City IGA recently announced Twila Farr, a Star City IGA shopper and Presque Isle resident, has won a national grand prize package in the IGA Family Meals — Together is Better sweepstakes.
Farr entered the sweepstakes at Star City IGA during the IGA Family Meals event, held May 3 – 30 in participating IGA stores nationwide to help IGA shoppers make their family mealtime meaningful and enjoyable. Throughout the month, IGA shoppers were encouraged to visit their local IGA to learn more about the benefits of sharing meals with family, save on national brand products and enter the IGA Family Meals national sweepstakes. As a grand-prize winner, Farr received a $5,000 cash prize and a suite of family board games.
“We participated in this national IGA event because we think it is important to take the time to share meals together, engage in family meal planning and to develop favorite family recipes,” Scott Carlin, owner of Star City IGA said. “This event helped us educate our community about the benefits of sharing family meals. We’re proud that our store team and our customers got behind this event and are thrilled to have a national winner among our shoppers.
