Telford Aviation currently has seven employees who commute to the Loring Commerce Centre from Mapleton, Caribou, New Sweden, Fort Fairfield and Presque Isle. This world-wide business was drawn to the former air base because of the available hangar space and Loring’s rural location.
Telford started out at Loring in aircraft maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO), but has since progressed to Lighter-Than-Air (LTA) research and development.
The business looks hopefully to a future of manufacturing LTA observation platforms and to being a training center.
Officials with Telford, as they look forward toward a bright future, offers their congratulations to the Loring Commerce Centre on its 15th anniversary.
