Location was what influenced Sitel to open at the Loring Commerce Centre in April 1998; community growth and the work ethic of potential employees had made the site stand out. Loring Commerce Centre isn’t the only location of Sitel, which has 146 call centers in 28 countries. Employees of Sitel have excelled in outbound sales since 1998 while success has led to the creation of inbound sales and retention programs.
There are currently 225 employees working at Sitel full- or part-time who come from various communities throughout Aroostook County to work at the centre.
Officials of Sitel are looking forward toward continued growth and prosperity; Sitel Loring was voted the number one call center out of all of Sitel locations for 2008.
“We have a bright future for Loring and plan to be here for a long time to come,” said Sitel Loring Director Robert Jalbert.
