This Friday, Oct. 30 at the Northern Maine Community College field in Presque Isle, Aroostook Middle School Football is proud to announce the final home game of the season will be played “Friday Night Lights” style under the lights, with kickoff at 7 p.m.     Aroostook Middle School Football is in its second year of operation and is concluding a successful season with the final game to be spotlighted with a broadcast on Time Warner Cable Channel 9. Fans of football action should come out for the game at the athletic field of NMCC to show their support to these young players.
The game between the Taco Bell Patriots and the Time Warner Cable Polar Bears should be exciting. The last meeting between these two teams was on Oct. 19 and was a back-and-forth battle between two high powered offenses, with 59 total points being scored between the teams. The Time Warner Cable Polar Bears are looking to avenge that loss and improve its record to finish out the season. The Taco Bell Patriots’ last game was a close contest, with the Pats falling to the Valley Spartans, 39-33.
