Abigail Schwartz, daughter of Patty and Dave Schwartz of Caribou, and Lewis G. Slagle III, son of Lew and Mary Slagle of Bear, DE, announce their engagement.

Schwartz is attending the University of Maine at Presque Isle and is scheduled to graduate in the fall of 2010 with an English Degree.
Slagle is a 2004 high school graduate of Vineland High School, Vineland, N.J. and currently works for the Department of Corrections.
A July 10, 2010 ceremony is planned at the Perham Baptist Church.
