The Washburn High School Class of ’54 held their 55th class reunion on Aug. 14 and 15, during the August Festival.
The celebration began on Friday night at the Alumni Banquet, with a potluck supper. Saturday morning, the class got together and decorated a float that was put in the parade.
Saturday evening’s event, held at the Northeastland Hotel, began with a social hour with everyone having a good time. Bill Hay and class president Richard Farley spoke and thanked everyone for coming. David Northup asked the blessing.
