    The season is winding down with the season ending Friday, Feb. 5 before preliminary play. The following is a recap of game scores through the week.
    Southern Aroostook 85, East Grand 49 — On Monday in Danforth, the Warriors took a 24-9 first-quarter lead and extended it at halftime to 51-16. After three, SACS led 68-32 en route to the easy win.
    Cody Robinson netted 16 points for the Warriors, while Pat Goodall had 14, Dakota Sleeper netted 12 points and Anthony Diaferio hit for 10 points.
    Seth Cropley led all scorers with 23 points, while Andrew Gilman tossed in 10 for East Grand.
    Schenck 78, Katahdin 39 — On Saturday in East Millincocket, the Cougars played the Wolverines even in the first period, but fell behind 32-25 at halftime. In the third, Schenck outscored Katahdin, 22-8 for a 54-33 advantage.
    Kolby Gallagher led Katahdin with 15 points, while Colton Bivighouse scored 10.
    In the jayvee game, Schenck won, 60-32.
    CAHS 77, Southern Aroostook 55 — Friday in Dyer Brook, the Panthers turned a 19-16 first-quarter deficit into a 35-28 halftime lead. In the third, the Panthers built a 55-42 lead en route to the win.
    Caleb Kelley pumped in 27 points for the Panthers, while Mike McClung tossed in 15 points, Logan McLaughlin netted 12 and Mitchell Folsom added 10.
    Sleeper and Robinson scored 14 points apiece for the Warriors.
    In the prelim game, Southern Aroostook picked up the win, 61-49.
    Shead 61, East Grand 47 —  At Danforth on Friday, the Tigers wasted no time taking a 26-6 lead over host East Grand and doubling the Vikes’ score at halftime, 32-16. After the third, Shead had built a 43-28 advantage.
    Andrew Gilman led all scorers with 21 points for the Vikings, while Abe Brittain had 14.
    Southern Aroostook 66, Limestone/MSSM 39 – At Dyer Brook last Wednesday, Sleeper connected for 19 points and Robinson another 14, as the Warriors raced away from the Eagles.
    The Warriors jumped to an 18-6 lead and held a comfortable 30-12 halftime advantage. After the third, the Warriors had built a 53-26 margin.
    Diaferio added 10 points, while Goodall finished with 12 rebounds, nine points and seven steals for the Warriors.
    In the jayvee contest, Southern Aroostook edged Limestone/MSSM, 53-51.
Girls wrap up
    Central Aroostook 53, Katahdin 34 — On Monday at Stacyville, the Lady Cougars fell behind 19-8 and then 33-17 at halftime against Central Aroostook and couldn’t recover. After the third, the Lady Panthers held on to a 46-21 advantage.
    Vicki McIntyre scored 18 points, while Brianna Hartin finished with 14 points and Rachel Grew hit four 3-points for 12 points for Central Aroostook.
    Kali Rush led Katahdin with 12 points, , while Olivia McNally had six.
    Shead 47, East Grand 19 — Last Friday in Danforth, the Lady Vikings fell behind 26-12 at halftime, as the Tigers extended their lead after three, 34-18 for the win.
    Shaunna Beaudoin and Elisha Farley led East Grand with seven points each.
    Southern Aroostook 67, GHCA 38 — At Dyer Brook last Thursday, the Lady Warriors built a 42-12 halftime lead en route to the win.
    Liz Goodall scored 19 points, while Shelby Hartin had 14 points, Evangeline Goodall and Kaitlyn Sommers each scored 10 points.
    Emily Little scored 14 points to pace the Lady Eagles.
    Washburn 67, GHCA 32 — At Washburn last Tuesday, the Lady Eagles were behind 37-13 at halftime and 51-21 after the third.
    Mariah Wiley scored 15 points, while Little tossed in nine for GHCA.
