Smith named part of Poliquin’s staff
BRUNSWICK – Bruce Poliquin, candidate for Maine governor, has announced that Zachary Smith of Presque Isle has been hired as a field representative in northern Maine.
A former chairman of the Aroostook County Republican Committee and caucus organizer, Smith also previously served as chair of the Maine Federation of Young Republicans.
Smith has twice run for the state legislature and has been a member of the Maine State Republican Committee. He has experience working with a number of legislative campaigns and was also selected as an alternate delegate to the 2008 Republican National Convention.
