Where is UMPI’s windmill information?

To the editor:
The University of Maine at Presque Isle has an impressive wind turbine on the hill behind its ball field. On the UMPI Web site, long before the turbine began working, many promises were made to share all information about the windmill with the public. This was heartening, but not surprising — after all, UMPI is a public educational institution.
But when I last checked (Feb. 10) nothing (except the current weather) has been changed or updated on the Web site since November 2008. The promises are still there on the web site , however. Where is some information about the windmill’s actual record of production? Has the device been durable and dependable? What lessons has UMPI learned from the windmill project?
This citizen and taxpayer would like to know (for instance) how much power has actually been generated, in weekly and monthly totals of kilowatt hours. Also how much power has been sold to the grid since it was completed in May of 2009, and how that total compares to expectations.
All we know is that, when we drive by, the blades seem to be turning whenever the wind blows. We Maine citizens were promised a lot of educational information on this iconic green power — well, where is it? Where and when will it be posted?
And surely School Administrative District 1 will want to know some information about actual local windmill power production before investing in wind turbines on its property.
Maine is being peppered with windmills — are they actually accomplishing anything? What is the actual record?
