Ump clinic begins March 3
The Northern Maine Board of Approved Baseball Umpires will begin holding clinics for new members beginning on Wednesday, March 3.
Interested individuals should meet in the North Classroom in Weiden Hall on the University of Maine at Presque Isle campus at 6 p.m. that first night.
The cost of the clinic is $40, which includes the rule book. Other class dates will be discussed.
Those passing the board test and mechanics session will be eligible to begin working this spring at the middle school level.
