To the editor:
I wanted to send this letter on behalf my wife and our family to thank everyone who helped and donated as well as attended the benefit supper for my wife Candice Cleary. Your support and prayers over the past few months have been greatly appreciated.
The support from Houlton and surrounding communities have been incredible and have made us realize how lucky we are to live in the area we do. People may complain about Houlton and how there is nothing here or nothing to do, but you can’t put into words how a community comes together to help when there is a major medical issue or tragedy. We appreciate everything that everybody has done and wanted to say “thank you.” Please keep up the prayers and the support as we continue our fight with cancer.
