Local law enforcement officers were part of the Special Olympics Torch Run held last Thursday. The participants ran 12.3 miles from North Road through Market Square and finishing at the Houlton Police Department. The annual Torch Run goes from Fort Kent to Orono for Special Olympics Summer Games, which were held June 11.
