Open letter from victim’s family

To the editor:
    Love was witnessed during the most tragic time of our lives. The well-wishes and thoughtfulness of the town-folk is mind blowing. When you live life in quiet solitude and tragedy strikes, it is difficult to realize how much love and compassion is around you.
    People came daily with food, kind words, warm hugs and pure love in their hearts. To simply say thank-you just does not sound like enough.
    Brenda Farrar and family designed a web page; amitymatters.com and all proceeds go to Skylar, Jake and Isabella for their education and care.
    Special thanks to Porter Drywall for their support and kind words. The crew from Porter Drywall came and gave support to Bob and Jake. Thank-you does not express how we truly feel.
    To our many other donations from Amity and the surrounding communities and friends, family and others – thank you from the bottom of our heart.
    To the Maine State Police – hurrah and amen!
