Caribou – Bernadette Doucette, 80, died October 1, 2010, at Caribou. She was born in Grand Falls N.B., Canada August 30, 1930, the daughter of the late Joseph and Maria (Damboise) Rossignol.
Mrs. Doucette was a member of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church and was employed at McCain Foods as well as the Birds Eye Division of General Foods for many years. She married John Doucette Jr.
Surviving in addition to her husband of Caribou are three sons and a daughter-in-law; David Doucette of Caribou, Mark and Tammy Doucette of LaPorte, Ind., and Jeffrey Doucette of Caribou; one daughter and son-in-law, Diane and Jim Ralph of Medina, N.Y.; one sister, Ella Elliott of Conn.; eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services were held 10 a.m., Tuesday, October 5, 2010, at the Evergreen Cemetery, Caribou, with the Very Rev. Jean-Paul Labrie, officiating. Arrangements by the Mockler Funeral Home, 24 Reservoir Street, Caribou. www.mocklerfuneralhome.com
