WHOU will once again be broadcasting local high school basketball on 100.1 FM this winter. The broadcast crew will cover boys and girls teams from Houlton, Hodgdon, Greater Houlton Christian Academy, Central Aroostook and Southern Aroostook.
During the tournament, the crew will add coverage for teams from Ashland, Katahdin, Washburn, Fort Fairfield and Presque Isle. Fort Fairfield games will be broadcast on WBCQ as well as WHOU during the tournament.
Coach Robert Smith will bring his Hawks into the Shiretown for a crosstown game tonight.
Ken Holck is back for his 13th season calling the play-by-play, and Rob Moran will once again provide the color during games along with a few other guests.
Games will be streamed online at the listen live link at no charge.

Dec. 29 — boys —Hodgdon @ Houlton — 7 p.m.
Dec. 30 — girls —Lee Academy @ Houlton — 7 p.m.
