The 152nd Field Artillery Association will be sponsoring an exhibit on February 5, 12, 19 and 26, at the Caribou Historical Society Museum, located at 1033 Presque Isle Road in Caribou.

This exhibit is being held in recognition of the 70th anniversary of the 152nd’s mobilization in World War II and will include displays of photographs, documents and other artifacts from the 152nd Field Artillery’s extensive history.

Formed in 1922 in Aroostook County, as part of the Maine National Guard, elements of the 152nd Field Artillery regiment fought in both the Pacific and European Theaters of World War II. Other participation included several overseas deployments since Sept. 11, 2001.

The regiment was deactivated in 2008.
