Winable items include a $100 gift certificate from mobile DJ service Music-X-Press, gift certificates from the Par and Grill, Sports Inn, Comfort Creations and Caribou One Stop, a Margarita gift basket including glasses from Nancy Solman, tools from S.W. Collins Co., a last will and testament from Kelley & Leger Law Offices, and various items donated by Northstar Variety, State Farm Ins., Crown Equipment and more. An estimated 100 items are anticipated to be auctioned off at the end of the evening.
According Shelley O’Rourke, president of the Caribou BPW, this Monte Carlo Night fund-raising event will be used in part to benefit the club’s scholarship fund.
“Come and enjoy an evening of poker, Texas hold’em, roulette, and blackjack — Use the coupon in this week’s Aroostook Republican for an additional discount on your BPW money,” O’Rourke said.
The Legion and Auxiliary will have the kitchen and bar open to meet participants’ beverage and dining needs — including hot dogs, hamburgers, French fries and onion rings.
Monte Carlo coupons will be available in the Aroostook Republican and News on Feb. 9 and 15.
