The Story of Jack and the Jelly Bean Stock

    Once upon a time, there was a poor boy named Jack, who was living with his poor mother, named Sheila. One day, Sheila noticed that Jack was to lazy. That night, Sheila very politely asked Jack to go and brush his teeth and go to bed. Jack refused, so Sheila went upstairs and packed Jack’s items.
    Sheila said “Go to bed and when you wake up tomorrow, be prepared to live on your own, because I can’t stand your laziness any longer.” Sheila also said, “I’ll put $10 on the table for you.” Then she went to bed.
    That morning when Jack woke up, he knew his mother wasn’t going to change her mind. He grabbed his bags and his $10 and headed out the door. Jack was so sad that he couldn’t go back now, so he just dealt with his new life without his mother.
    Jack was off to a bad start in his new life. He felt hungry, so he decided to go to the store and buy a little treat for himself. He ended up with a big bag of licorice, three king-sized candy bars, and one carton of milk! You are probably thinking that it must have been a lot of money and it was. It was all of his money. “What do I do now!” he said.
    A week later, he figured out what to do, he’d get a job. He made $100 a week. He went to go grocery shopping and he ended up buying three magic jelly beans. He didn’t know they were magic, so he ate them. The jelly-bean stock grew inside of him and through his stomach. He walked around like that for a week, but the jelly-bean stock just kept growing taller and thicker, so he just laid down outside and died.
    One day after a month from when Jack died, a man named Pete came and noticed the jelly-bean stock. As he got closer, he noticed Jack. When he got as close as he could, he found a post card that he was going to send to his mother. It had the address on it, so Pete climbed the jelly-bean stock and found $1,000,000,000. He went to Jack’s mom’s house and split the money with Sheila. Pete and Sheila got married. They lived in a big cottage and lived happily ever after along with two girls and one boy.
