On March 21, 2011 Dr. Karl Woods, DMD was guest speaker at Houlton Rotary. Dr. Woods presented a power point presentation on Access to Oral Health. Dr. Woods spoke about Dental Caries being the most prevalant childhood disease and how it can be prevented. Dr. Woods stated there is not enough distribution of Dentists in rural areas. Dr. Woods serves on many committees and boards and is Secretary of Maine Dental Association.
