In making the award at a regional banquet, Rebecca Symes, vice regional supervisor, stated, “Since passing her C3 rating, Marina has been active in all phases of regional instruction, teaching at her club and other clubs, serving as an examiner for lower-level tests, judging at fun shows, assisting with horse management at rallies, and helping at the annual Horse Management/Standards and Ratings clinic. Despite having a long distance to travel, she has appeared and helped all over the state.”
Meduxnekeag River Pony Club is affiliated with United States Pony Clubs, a non-profit organization that teaches horsemanship and riding to young people through the age of 25. Service to the club and teaching horse management and riding to younger members is an important part of Pony Club for upper-level members.
