PRESQUE ISLE – Kathleen L. Antworth, 86, wife of the late Gerald B. Antworth, died early Wednesday morning, April 20, 2011, at a Van Buren nursing home. She was born on April 6, 1925, in Summerfield, N.B., Canada, the daughter of Merrill and Amy (Green) Gee.

Kathleen worked as a stitcher at The Aroostook Shoe in Presque Isle for a number of years.

She is survived by a son, Gregory M. Antworth of Old Orchard Beach; a daughter, JoAnne Felch of Colorado Springs, CO; two sisters: Dorothy Bell of Shediac, N.B., Canada, and Vivian Clark of Albion; three grandchildren: Tracy Mae, Kathleen and Hank Felch.

She was predeceased by her husband; a brother, Frank M. Gee; and a sister, Phyllis Weston.

A graveside service was held 1:30 p.m., Monday, April 25, at Fairmount Cemetery, Presque Isle, with Pastor Wes Lavigne officiating. Online condolences may be expressed at duncan-graves.com
