Southern Gospel Music’s 2011 Artist of the Year to appear in Houlton Oct. 29

HOULTON, Maine — The Greater Houlton Christian Academy will host The Booth Brothers, Southern Gospel Music’s 2011 Artist of the Year, on Saturday, Oct. 29. Shows are planned at the Houlton High School Community Arts Center for 3 p.m. and 7 p.m.
    This trio (www.boothbrothers.com) recently received six major awards at September’s “Singing News Fan Awards” presentation in Tennessee including, Artist of the Year, Lead Singer of the Year, Baritone  Singer of the Year, Tenor of the Year and others.
