After several weeks of target practice, on Nov. 7 Sandra Schofield, 21, of Stockholm, accompanied by her grandfather Bill Schofield bagged her first moose. The 670-pound moose was spotted in New Sweden and shot at 6:25 a.m. After tagging the moose, the rest of the day was spent with her uncle Tim Schofield, visiting from New Hampshire, who cut and processed the trophy with her and other family members. The successful hunter is the daughter of Bill and Janet Schofield of Caribou. Pictured at right is Josh Landeen.
