The Washburn ATV Club will be having a hotdog roast at the newly-rebuilt Rest-a-Bit Rest Area on Saturday, June 16, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Hotdogs, chips, canned soda and bottled water will be available by donation. The Rest-a-Bit is located about three miles north of Washburn on 105 along Salmon Brook (the perfect place to do some fishing). Hotdog roast signs will be posted along the trails. Rain date is Sunday, June 17.
The next club meeting will be Wednesday, June 27, due to July 4th holiday. There will be no potluck supper. The meeting will start at 6:30 p.m. and the agenda is to discuss the July 7 Food Booth at the Northern Maine Fairgrounds during the Washburn Rotary Club Truck Pulls.
