Madawaska man injured in fall

EAGLE LAKE — A Madawaska man was rushed to a Bangor Hospital June 30 following a fall.
“The Maine State Police responded to Eagle Lake for a report of a male subject lying in the roadway who had possibly fallen out of a pick-up truck. The victim was identified as Randy Willard, 24, of Madawaska,” said Sgt. Brian Harris, MSP.
According to Harris, Willard was first transported by Fort Kent Ambulance to Northern Maine Medical Center in Fort Kent with a serious head injury.
“Willard was later transported to EMMC in Bangor for further treatment of the head injury and is listed in critical condition,” said Harris.
The investigation into the incident and cause of Willard’s injuries is ongoing. Trooper Todd Stetson is the primary investigator. He was assisted by Harris and Det. Scott Bryant.
