Senior trip, soccer top rec news
EASTON — The Easton Recreation Department is preparing for another busy soccer season. Also on this week’s agenda are a couple of events planned for area senior citizens. Activities for the coming week include:
• Wednesday, Aug. 15 — school resumes.
• Thursday, Aug. 16 — Senior Field Trip at 9:45 a.m. Grades 3 and 4 soccer practice after school from 3-4 p.m. Children must have sneakers and shin guards to participate; a mouth guard is recommended. A complete scheduled will be distributed the first week of school.
• Friday, Aug. 17 — Senior Game Day at 11 a.m.
• Monday, Aug. 20 — Senior Nutrition class at 11 a.m.; cost is $3. Grades 3 and 4 soccer practice after school from 3-4 p.m. Children must have sneakers and shin guards to participate; a mouth guard is recommended. A complete scheduled will be distributed the first week of school.
