Our world tomorrow
To the editor:
Ever wonder what it would be like to live in a world where there was peace and stability, no wars, no pain, no tears, no sickness, no stress, no division and no hostility to take the pleasure out of your life?
The world we live in today is filled with all of the above. We deal with it daily wondering if it will ever get better.
History books tell us the universe and our world was created by the Big Bang Theory. Darwin’s theory of biological evolution states that man evolved through certain stages of change from species in the sea.
The Holy Bible tells us God created the universe and our world. Then he created a man and woman and all living things. He also tells us that those who love him and follow him will have eternal life in a new world someday.
Time will tell which theory is true. Regardless of how the universe and our world came into existence or how mankind was created, we have to deal with the problems of our times as they are today. We have the natural disasters to contend with plus the man-made disasters along with all the other problems of life. How we handle these problems today will determine what our world will be like tomorrow.
One of my problems of today is Darwin’s theory of evolution. If man evolved from species in the sea, why isn’t the process still in existence? How did the process bring forth a male and female? Once the species through all the stage changes produced a man and woman as we are today, why did the process end?
I would rather believe the Word of the Holy Bible that our world and universe were created by God. He created a man and woman and children were born from them and life continues on today with the same process. If you believe in God there is hope for today, tomorrow and forever.
It appears there is no hope for the future in Darwin’s theory.
