Catholic Charities sells the clothing and buys food or whatever else they may need. Thank you in advance, your help is greatly appreciated.

Veterans honored

On Tuesday, Nov. 13, the staff and students of the Easton School Department will be honoring local veterans at the annual Veterans Day Celebration. Veterans are invited to be the guests at a Thanksgiving dinner at 12:30 p.m. at the elementary school, with an assembly to follow.

As part of the ceremony, veterans will be recognized in a PowerPoint presentation. If you have not sent in a picture for previous celebrations, please bring or send a picture to the elementary school office so that it may be included in this presentation. You will need to do this no later than Nov. 8.

Also, to help our cooks prepare, all who plan to attend are asked to contact the elementary school for reservations by calling 488-7701 no later than Friday, Nov. 9.

On behalf of the planning committee and the entire Easton School Department, we look forward to honoring our local veterans on November 13.

Congratulations

Congratulations to our girls’ and boys’ soccer teams for playing a great season. We appreciated all the hard work and long hours of practice that you put in. We really enjoyed watching your games all season. You all showed great sportsmanship and took a lot of punches. We are proud of you all.

Also a huge thank you to Coach Tomlinson and Coach Shaw for their great coaching skills. We appreciate the great job you both did.
