Glenburn, ND and Caribou — Barbara Ann Griffeth Johnson, 51, died December 5, 2012, following a brief illness. She was born in Fort Fairfield January 6, 1961, the daughter of Wayne and Catherine (Hodges) Griffeth Sr. She married Steven Johnson April 6, 1987. Barbara attended Caribou schools and was a graduate of the University of North Dakota at Minot. She retired from the US Air Force at Minot Air Force base where she made her home in Glenburn, N.D. Barbara was active with the local Girls Scouts and the International Falls Music Camp.
Barbara was predeceased by a sister, Debra Hall; a nephew, Ryan Griffeth; and her grandparents, Maynard and Helen Griffeth and Timothy and Crystal Hodges. Surviving in addition to her husband, Steven of Glenburn, N.D; her parents of Caribou; a daughter, Rebecca Johnson of Fargo, N.D; two sons, Judson Drake II and Jamie Lee Jackson both of Colorado; a sister, Roxann Alley and her husband, Eric of Stockholm; two brothers, Wayne Griffeth Jr. and his partner, David Hurst of Charleston and Rex Griffeth and his wife, Sharon of Caribou; several aunts; uncles; nieces and nephews.
Memorial services were held Tuesday, December 11, 2012, from the Thompson-Larson Funeral Home, 21 3rd Ave., Minot, North Dakota 58701.
