Sno-Drifters hold annual Poker Run

The Molunkus Valley Sno-Drifters held their annual Poker Run on Feb. 16. It was a snowy day, but lots of fun was had by all! The trails were pretty good and the views were awesome, said Deb Long, president.    Taking first place was Bev and Will Lane, taking home a cash prize of $150, while second went to Sharon Fithian, $50 and a Kelley’s gift card for $50 and third was Herb Fithian with $50.
Lots of other prizes, donated by area businesses, were won by various winners. Winning the worst hand was Samantha Hashey, who received the sign and the toilet seat, along with another prize. She was also a very good sport about it. Thanks Samantha!
The Sno-Drifters also held a 50/50 drawing, with the winner being John Mahanney of Massachusetts, who donated his winnings back to the club. Thanks so much John! The supper of chicken stew and chili was awesome, as usual.
“Thanks so much to area businesses who donated to this event, without your help this event probably wouldn’t happen, so thanks again we appreciate you all,” added Long.
