HOULTON — The Maine State Police Troop F barracks weekly report for incidents covering Monday, April 15 to Sunday, April 21 includes the following incidents in the Houlton Pioneer Times’ coverage area.
April 15
Trooper Lilley arrested an Oakfield man for OUI after stopping him for criminal speed.
April 16
Trooper Lilley responded to Stacyville for a report of an assault after an uninvolved third party heard about the assault and reported it. After investigation, Lilley discovered that a female subject had assaulted her boyfriend after she became jealous of his talking to other females at a party. The boyfriend had tried to get away from the female by locking himself in bathroom, but she was able to get into bathroom and continue assaulting him. The male was eventually able to get away from the female. The female then called her brother to the scene, telling him that she had been assaulted by the boyfriend. The brother responded to the house and assaulted the boyfriend over the perceived assault of his sister. After investigation, Trooper Lilley arrested the female for domestic assault and later charged her brother with assault.
April 19
Trooper Clark stopped a vehicle for speeding in Hodgdon during an OUI detail. The vehicle was operated by a 15-year-old male that did not have a license. The passenger was the boy’s 17-year-old girlfriend and the car was her mother’s vehicle. Trooper Clark summoned the boy for operating without a license and the passenger for permitting unlawful use. Both sets of parents were called and advised.
Troopers Saucier and Sylvia investigated a family fight in Littleton. Two adult siblings were arguing and their mother was also present. No crime was committed and the parties were separated.
Trooper Sylvia investigated a camp burglary on the Hutchinson Road in Linneus. The complainant reported their furnace had been stolen sometime over the winter. The investigation is ongoing.
April 20
Troopers Sylvia and Levesque investigated a theft complaint in Littleton. The caller reported that her son stole her boat and her refrigerator from her home while she was away and allowing him to live there. Investigation is ongoing.
