On Sept. 11, the group called the Happy Losers held the weekly meeting at the Congregational Church vestry in Island Falls. The leader opened the meeting with the pledge and roll call.
Eleven weighed-in and nine attended the meeting. Loretta Bouchard was the loser of the week and Jackie Pratt was runner-up. Great job ladies! The secretary and treasurer gave reports for the week.
The leader led the program for the week. Her topic was on an article about ketchup, cheese, nasal problems, and mustard. Meeting was informative and interesting.
