NEW LIMERICK – Gerald C. McIver Sr., 85, passed away July 7, 2014 in Houlton. He was born July 28, 1928, in Houlton, the son of Bernard and Annie (Henderson) McIver.
He is survived by his children, Pam Cloutier, Randy Cloutier, Thomas and Shelly Sawyer, Jeffery and Penny Sawyer, Ed Sawyer, and Kimberly Sawyer; grandchildren, Matt, Caley, Kenzee, Peter, Taylor, Dean, Olivia, Wyatt, Jeremy, Matthew and Brenda; brothers and sisters, Marie McAfee, Robert and Mary McIver; daughter-in-law, Barb; sisters-in-law, Georgia and Olga; a special friend, Ruth Suitter. He was predeceased by his parents; wife, Doreen C. McIver; son, Gerald Jr.; sister, Irene Bickford and brother, Phillip McIver.
Friends may call 9-11 a.m. on Friday, July 11, at Bowers Funeral Home, 10 Water Street, Houlton where funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Friday with Deacon Al Burleigh officiating.
