Young Farmer nominees sought
The Maine Potato Board is seeking nominations for the Young Farmer of the Year award.
Nominees should be 40 or younger, have outstanding farming practices, show growth and advancement in their farming operation, leadership within the industry, involvement in Maine Potato Board activities, willingness to explore new methods, technologies, and advancements in the industry, and participation in local community, church and other civic groups.
The recipient of the award will attend the Potato Industry Leadership Institute.
