Fitness class offered

The Houlton Recreation Department will be offering a fall session of Pi-yo Burn and Firm. To register, you can call 532-1310 or like visit their Facebook site at Houlton Recreation Department and leave your information there.

Pi-yo Burn and Firm is all about gaining strength and improve flexibility through pilates and yoga designed moves, while you burn calories moving to your favorite songs. A new session of classes will start on Monday, Sept. 14, and will run for eight weeks every Monday and Wednesday from 5-6 p.m. The instructor is Yvonne Hyman.

The cost is $45 for Houlton Resident and $65 for non-residents. Bring water, a yoga mat, sneakers and 1-5-pound weights are optional.

Game times changed

The Houlton boys and girls soccer games slated for Friday versus Calais will feature a change. The boys game will be played at 4 p.m., followed by the girls at 6 p.m.

Middle School tourney

The Bill Webber middle school soccer tournament will be held Saturday at Houlton High School starting at 9 a.m. Teams from Houlton, Hodgdon, Southern Aroostook, Fort Fairfield and Ashland will participate.
