It’s time — Homecoming 2017 will take place this week and weekend, from Thursday, Aug. 10, to Sunday, Aug. 13, 2017.

Cheer Clinic
Hosted by All-Star Gymnastics and the Galaxy Cheer Team, there will be a Cheer Clinic on Saturday, Aug. 19, 2017, at the Presque Isle Rec Center from 10 a.m. to noon.
The cost is $20.
Participants will learn to stunt, jump, tumble, dance and cheer from a highly experienced staff of coaches and the Galaxy Cheer Team. Those attending will be grouped by age and have an opportunity to showcase what they learned at the end of the clinic.

Rotary Club
The Mars Hill Rotary Club met Tuesday morning, Aug. 1, at 6:30 a.m. at the Aroostook Health Center. Members discussed club business and upcoming events.
Library Happenings
The library’s annual tag sale fundraiser will be held this month; specific dates and location will be announced.
Regular happenings include Toddler Time on Tuesdays at 10, as well as Craft Club on Mondays from 5:30 to 7:30. Bring your favorite cross stitch piece, knitting, crocheting or other craft to work on in the company of others.
Aroostook Health Center
Upcoming events for the week of Aug. 9-15 include: Wednesday will feature Beauty Parlor at 8:30 a.m., Fun with Jess and Devin at 9:30 a.m. and Karaoke with Larry and Larry at 1:30 p.m. Thursday will feature Beauty Parlor at 8:30 a.m., Bingo at 9:30 a.m. and Horse Racing at 1:30 p.m. Friday will feature Five Card Bingo at 9:30 a.m. and Music by The Countrymen at 1:30 p.m. Saturday is a free day with games, movies and puzzles available in the dayroom. Sunday will have televised church available in the day room and Sunday Service with Jonathan at 1:30 p.m. Monday will feature Nails by Shallie and Melissa at 9:30 a.m. and Cribbage Games at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday will feature Beauty Parlor at 8:30 a.m., Bingo at 9:30 a.m. and Card Games at 1:30 p.m.

Bingo
The William Cousins Post 118 of Mars Hill is hosting Bingo on Saturday evening beginning at 7 p.m. at the Post. There are cash prizes. Refreshments are available. Come on out and enjoy a fun evening with friends!
