What side is Senator Collins on?

Night after night I sit down to watch the news and hear how U.S. Sen. Susan Collins voted “No” on another bill that the Republicans have been working on.

Some news outlets have even mentioned that Sen. Collins should switch parties to the Democratic Party. We the people of Maine did not vote for Sen. Collins to represent the Democratic Party. Sen. Collins is a Republican and if she cannot stand for the residents of Maine, that voted for her, and vote for bills that Republicans are trying to pass, for the best interest for the American people, including people of Maine, then we need to elect someone that will represent Maine in Washington.

Sen. Collins is up for re-election in 2020 and there are rumors out there that she is looking at running for governor of Maine in 2018.  We the people of Maine do not need someone representing us as a senator or governor that doesn’t have our best interest in mind.

Please call Sen. Collins’ office and tell her to remember where she came from and who she should be representing. Start representing Maine in Washington and stop taking money from the special interest groups and lobbyists.
