CARIBOU, Maine – Lynn R. James, 52, passed away October 28, 2017, at Cary Medical Center following a 17-year battle with cancer with family by her side. She was born in Caribou, January 11, 1965, the daughter of the late Nathan and Nancy (Grass) Cyr.

Lynn was a 1982 graduate of Caribou High School, attended Northern Maine Community College and received her R.N. degree. She married Mitchell James November 3, 1990. For more than 27 years, Lynn was a dedicated Registered Nurse at Cary Medical Center.
Surviving in addition to her husband, Mitchell of Caribou, are her two sons, Christopher Spring and wife, Lynn, of Rollinsford, New Hampshire, and Nicholas James of Portland; two sisters, Natalie Jones and husband, Michael, of Fort Fairfield and Nanette Cyr of Caribou; several special nieces and nephews, including Chelsea, Kianah, Landan, Braeden and Nathan.
Friends called at Mockler Funeral Home, 24 Reservoir Street, Caribou, 6-8 p.m. Tuesday. Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Wednesday, November 1, 2017, from the chapel of the funeral home with the Rev. George McLaughlin officiating. Interment will be at Evergreen Cemetery. Following the services all are invited to a time of continued fellowship and refreshments at the Chan Center.
