HOULTON, Maine — VNA Home Health Hospice will host its winter 2018 Grief Support Group Wednesday afternoons beginning Jan. 10 and ending Feb. 14 at Houlton Regional Hospital.
The group will meet from 12:30 to 2 p.m. at the Center for Community Health Education (third floor) at 20 Hartford Street.
This six-week support group offers adults the opportunity to learn about grief and share their experiences in a supportive, safe environment. This group is open to any adult (18 years and older) who is dealing with the death of a loved one.
The group is free of charge, but will be limited to a maximum of 12 participants. Â Participants should plan to attend all sessions and no new participants will be accepted after Jan. 16 in order to maintain group integrity.
Anyone interested in attending the group should call the bereavement coordinator, George McLaughlin, at 764-9413 in order to reserve a spot.
