CARIBOU, Maine – John W. Stubbs, 71, died on July 23, 2018, at Lewiston following a brief illness. He was born in Caribou on September 1, 1946, the son of the late Robert and Margaret (Giberson) Stubbs.
John was a graduate of Caribou High School and married Peggy Loggans. He was employed as a technician and service manager for Chadwick-BaRoss in Caribou for many years. John loved auto racing, Nascar, and spending time with friends and family four wheeling. He was always concerned about others and their well-being more than his own.
Surviving in addition to his wife, Peggy, of Caribou, are his son and daughter-in-law, John and Lisa Stubbs of Caribou; two sisters, Bonnie and Patricia of New Hampshire; his two beloved grandsons, John and Josh; as well as a special brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Donald and Barbara Loggans, and several nieces and nephews.
