Apology

I am sorry that I made a mistake when announcing the Mars Hill Trunk or Treat as taking place on Wednesday, Halloween night.  It actually took place last Saturday evening. I apologize for this error.

Rotary Club

The Mars Hill Rotary Club met on Tuesday, Oct. 23, at 6:30 a.m. at the Aroostook Health Center.  The guest speaker was George Cambanis, a traveling CNA working at the Aroostook Health Center.

Cambanis is a retired firefighter from Texas who decided he wanted to continue working, but in a different field.  He enjoys working with people and helping them with their needs, so trained as a CNA. He then decided to work as a traveling CNA to be able to see different parts of the country.

He likes Aroostook County (but let’s see how he feels now that the snow has arrived). Welcome to Maine, George.
