Husson University’s Isabelle Jackson, a freshman from Presque Isle, was named to the North Atlantic Conference all-conference first team in cross country.
Jackson, who placed seventh with a time of 21 minutes and 52 seconds at the NAC championship meet held Sunday in Belfast, became just the fourth rookie in program history and the first since 2012 to earn first-team honors.
Two of her teammates, Lindsay Joliat of Brewer and Julia Glisson of Merrimack, New Hampshire, were also on the first team. Two other Eagles received recognition as Renee Dostal of Saco made the second team and Erin Kashian of Caribou was named to the Sportsmanship Team.
