Washburn District High School students explore local history

by Contributed

Washburn District High School freshmen recently visited the Benjamin C. Wilder and Aroostook Agricultural Museum. The Wilder Farmstead was built in 1852 and the Agricultural Museum was built in 1989. Both contain antiques, old machinery and equipment, along with culinary items and woodshop tools. The students enjoyed becoming acquainted with their community’s history. (Courtesy of Jada Moulton)
