Rotary Club

The Mars Hill Rotary Club met on Tuesday, Dec. 4, 2018 at 6:30 a.m. at the Aroostook Health Center.  Rotarian Pam Townsend spoke about Maine Agri-Women and Wreaths Across America.

She has traveled around the country as part of Maine Agri-Women and learned about different companies in other areas.

She is also pleased to be part of the Wreaths Across America activity and welcomes all who care to help to the Mapleton ceremony on December 15 at 11:30 a.m. when 132 wreaths will be placed on veterans headstones.

Upcoming events for the week of Dec. 12 – 18 include: Wednesday will feature Beauty Parlor at 8:30 a.m., Table Tennis at 9:30 a.m. and a Tea Social at 1:30 p.m.  Thursday will feature Beauty Parlor at 8:30 a.m., Bingo at 9:30 a.m. and Adult Coloring at 1:30 p.m. Friday is Ugly Sweater Day and will feature Christmas Box Bingo at 9:30 a.m. and Music by The Countrymen at 1:30 p.m.  Saturday will feature Karaoke with The Deschesnes at 1:30 p.m. Sunday will have televised church in the day room and Christmas Carols with Larry and Becky at 1:30 p.m. Monday will feature Nails with Shallee and Melissa at 9:30 a.m. and Communion at 1:30 p.m.   Tuesday will feature Beauty Parlor at 8:30 a.m., Bingo at 9:30 a.m. and Card Games at 1:30 p.m. All of these activities are subject to change. If you would like to volunteer to help with any of these activities, call Connie or Vicki at 768-4915.

BINGO

The William Cousins Post 118 of Mars Hill is hosting BINGO on Saturday evening beginning at 7 p.m. at the Post. There are cash prizes. Refreshments are available. Come on out and enjoy a fun evening with friends!
