Warden Services releases video to advocate riding responsibly

The Maine Warden Service has partnered with both RAVE X Motorsports and Maine Advocates for Responsible Backcountry, or MARB, in this latest video highlighting backcountry riding concerns and the need to ride responsibly. Both RAVE X and MARB have a strong Maine base with a history of promoting responsible backcountry riding.

Maine has some of New England’s finest backcountry riding, and to keep it that way, riders need to respect private land. We’ve already seen land and trails closed to irresponsible use. We are urging riders to ask permission before riding on private land. Snowmobilers should never damage newly planted trees or litter. The key to keeping private land open for backcountry riding depends on every rider using good judgement. Please join us in helping spread the word regarding responsible backcountry snowmobiling.
