The Purple Hat ladies from Southern Aroostook gathered at A Taste of China for their meeting in February. All were asked to bring an unsigned Valentine card to the event.
Cindy Gray recognized those with February birthdays and Happy Birthday was sung. Wannetta Townsend asked the blessing on the meal.
The next meeting place was discussed.
Bernice Campbell and Mildred Gagnon were the winners of the monthly drawing.
The group learned how to say I Love You in sign language and found a new appreciation for those that do sign language efficiently.
A “Find the Match” game was enjoyed. Readings were done by Cindy Gray and Marie Gillotti.
A valentine exchange was completed and Ramona White was the winner of the box of chocolates.
