To the editor:
On May 18, a group of volunteers met at Fairmount Cemetery to take on the task of placing flags on all the veterans’ graves. We placed over 800 flags this year.
I wish to thank those that helped out in this endeavor. We had 17 individuals show up representing the American Legion, the Disabled American Veterans, Boy Scout Troop 171 and Cub Scout Pack 171.
We were able to complete this task in under two hours.
