CARIBOU, Maine — A Frenchville family had an extra special reason to celebrate Independence Day this year with the birth of their new baby boy, which represented the 95th delivery at Cary Medical Center for 2019.
Maverick Riley Munoz was born at 11:04 p.m. on Thursday, July 4, to Deserae and Seth Munoz of Frenchville. Maverick weighed 5 pounds, 11.6 ounces, and was 19 1/4 inches long.
Dr. Roseann Freundel, an OB/GYN provider with Pines Health Services and Cary, delivered him.
Maverick’s maternal grandparents are Tammy Michaud and Steve Dugal of Madawaska and his paternal grandparents are Pam and Dean Lavoie of Frenchville, Maine.
As the 95th baby born this year in honor of the hospital’s 95th anniversary, Maverick and his parents received some special gifts courtesy of the Cary Medical Center Ladies Auxiliary.
