HOULTON, Maine — It turned out to be a wonderful weekend for a good game of golf. Many players took advantage of the warm temps on Saturday.

On Sunday, it was a different start to the day as fewer golfers challenged the rain drops. The weather took a turn just in time for the Golf for Life/Member Scramble. A total of 46 players showed up to brave the elements, but the weather cleared and all had a great time.

All groups were very competitive. Congratulations to the team of Alphonso Musho, Walt Gilpin, Nancy and Mac Randall and Dave Grant at six-under par. Second place went to Tammy and Doug Griffin, Lori and Kemp Irish and Bob Shaw at -2. Third place was the team of Fred and Ann Rairdon, and Bruce and Shadow Gorrill. After game snacks and munchies were prepared by Chef Bill and Nancy and were enjoyed by everyone. Thank you to all the participants.
